Join our Youth Advisory Council for 2024-2025

Calling all passionate Bay Area high school students (ages 14-18) who want to make a difference! API Legal Outreach is thrilled to announce that applications are now open for our Youth Advisory Council (YAC) for 2024-2025.

What is YAC?

YAC is a dynamic group of young leaders dedicated to addressing AAPI (Asian American and Pacific Islander) issues head-on. As a council member, you’ll gain valuable experience in:

  • Community Education: Raising awareness about the challenges faced by AAPI youth communities.
  • Event Planning: Creating and implementing impactful events that celebrate AAPI heritage and promote social justice.
  • Leadership Development: Building your skills in advocacy, communication, and teamwork.
